Shipping and Return Policies
Shipping
Thank you for ordering from Ron Gibson Mountain Dulcimers. Small items not ordered with a dulcimer (strings, straps, capos, etc.) are shipped by US Postal Service within
three business days. Dulcimers and hardshell cases are shipped by either UPS or US Postal Service within
three business days and the tracking number is emailed when your order ships.
Terms of Sale & Return Policies
I will make every attempt to accommodate returns of merchandise sold on this website under the following conditions.
- Please contact me by email, text or phone before returning any item. Otherwise
the package will be rejected and returned at the sender's expense. This is to
insure items do not sit outside in the weather and to prevent needless returns
where an issue is easily corrected or explained.
- TK O'Brien dulcimers can be returned 5 days after receipt. Returns after
this date are not possible.
- Dulcimers from "In Stock" page can be returned within two weeks from date of receipt unless damaged or modified
- Custom dulcimer returns will be handled on an individual basis. Due to the highly personal nature of many custom instruments (odd soundholes, non-standard frets, etc) they can be extremely difficult to sell to anyone other than the original purchaser.
- A request for a return must be made within 5 days of receipt of the item.
- All items must be returned in sellable condition. If not, they will be returned
to the sender at sender's expense or a partial refund offered
solely at the seller's discretion.
- Purchaser is responsible for return shipping cost. In some cases the seller
will refund return shipping cost solely at the seller's discretion.
- Items returned as defective but found to be in working order (in need of new
batteries, normal adjustment, etc.) will be returned at sender's expense or
given a refund minus seller's original shipping cost.
- Items returned due to a customer mis-order, change of mind or issues not
related to a product defect will be given refund minus the seller's original
shipping cost since it is not fair for the seller to pay for another's
mistake or change of mind.
- Books cannot be returned.
- Items modified in any way cannot be returned.
