This beautiful dulcimer has a bookmatched Ambrosia Maple top with bookmatched Walnut back and sides. The fretboard features a Rosewood overlay with a 26" scale, 18 nickel silver frets including a 1½, 6½, 8½ and 13½ frets for a full two octave range. The inlays are Mother-of-Pearl the gold Grover Sta-Tite tuners have a 14:1 gear ratio and lifetime manufacturer's warranty. The nut and bridge are Ebony for a warm tone and great durability. It is equipped with an internal piezo pickup for connection to an amplifier, sound effects pedals or sound system using a standard 1/4" guitar cord. Matching strap buttons are already installed and it is setup to use either loop or ball end strings. This dulcimer has a very low action (distance between strings and frets) and is very easy to play.
